Michael Darnaud is a dedicated Board Member, with a specialty in sustainability, helping non-profit and for-profit companies with strategic relationships and revenue growth. He also mentors young ESG entrepreneurs at PlugandPlay, the largest incubator in the United States and Gener8tor, an incubator of incubators.

Most recently, Michael led Business Development at a Canadian company selling carbon credits and a sustainability employment engagement app. He was previously Head of North America at a European ESG reporting company. For over 15 years, Michael ran his own consulting practice, which focused on international sales and strategy in fintech and cybersecurity, delivering millions in profitable revenue.  Earlier on, he was as a Senior Consultant at PwC, where he managed Strategic Alliances and advised Fortune 1000 companies on Social Collaboration.

Michael has spent over a decade serving on the board of directors of for profit and non-profit companies. At present, he is the Treasurer of the Northern California Land Trust and a Board Member at As You Know and As You Sow. He earned an Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, a BA in Economics from the Sorbonne and an MBA in Finance from INSEAD. He resides in San Francisco with his wife.
